After closing a long-term support and cooperation framework agreement in May 2016, Senvion and PROKON meanwhile have signed service agreements and conditional sales contracts for the total capacity of more than 100 MW that include the delivery and commissioning of the turbines.
Currently, there are five projects in the pipeline for commissioning between 2017 and 2018. The projects include 30 turbines in total, by a majority consisting of the Number One of our onshore portfolio: the Senvion 3.4M140. This turbine with a new pitch system and an optimized very low sound power level is particularly suitable for low-wind locations as well as forested and mountainous areas.
The 3-MW-Turbine Generation Eco Blade Control (EBC), launched in 2015, stands for highest yield in low-wind locations, an increased operating life to 25 years and for fewer sound emissions in all operating modes. For example, with an increase in yield of over 20% compared to other turbines out of the 3-MW-series, the 3.4M140 is a perfect solution for projects under auction conditions.

This ideal interaction of the individual components delivers a high energy yield and also keeps noise emission low.
