High yields at low wind speeds
The 2.3M130 finds its place in the 2MW class and generates high yields at low wind locations. Compared to the Senvion MM100, one of our best sold turbines in our portfolio, the new 2.3M130 increases the annual energy production up to 40%.
With the 69% larger rotor swept area, the optimized load management with advanced control features from our innovative 3.XM series and pure Senvion technology inside, the latest upgrade in the 2 MW class meets a wide range of site requirements, regulations and grid requirements. It can thus be used in a large number of locations.
An additional benefit: with an operating temperature range up to +45 °C, the 2.XM turbine can even be operated under extreme hot conditions.
With Smart Power Mode the nominal power of the 2.3M130 can be maximized to 2,500 kW.

The 2.XM series combines time-tested technologies with innovative features to further increase reliability, efficiency and yields. The drivetrain combines a modular design with a 3-point suspension. The matching electrical system with a double-fed induction generator and partial converter is highly efficient and extremely reliable.
Smart Power Mode
With our tried-and-tested and modular technology, Smart Power Mode enables the optimization of the wind turbine without component changes. By evaluating the project conditions and adjusting operational parameters, the nominal power can be increased by 200 kW. This maximizes the output from 2.3 MW to 2.5 MW. A combination of both Smart Power Mode and standard operation mode can be implemented to allow the best possible output from each wind farm.
