The 3.6M118 NES is a powerful addition to Senvion’s highly successful 3 MW platform for high wind-speed sites. With its optimized rotor design the new turbine can generate very high yields while keeping LCoE to a minimum. Equipped with Senvion NES (Next Electrical System), this new turbine is set up to comply with present and future grid code requirements and can be seamlessly integrated into electrical grids around the world. The 3.6M118 NES is mounted on a steel tower with a standard hub height of 91 meters and suitable for sites with medium to high wind speeds. Depending on project-specific requirements additional hub heights may also be available.
