The Senvion 3.7M144 EBC is a low wind specialist. With its bigger rotor, a rated power of 3,700 kW and new, highly efficient rotor blades it can achieve a 6.7% higher annual energy production (AEP) than the previous 3.6M140. The new rotor blades are based on the new Rodpack technology which replaces standard glass fibre fabric in the blade’s main girder. Rodpack technology is used exclusively in Senvion rotor blades and delivers significant improvements in material properties. Last but not least, the aerodynamically optimized blade design and the use of serrations on the trailing edge make the new Senvion 3.7M144 EBC one of the quietest turbines for low wind speeds on the market.
