Senvion is a leading global manufacturer of onshore and offshore wind turbines. The company develops, produces and markets wind turbines for almost any location – with rated outputs of 2 MW to 6.15 MW and rotor diameters of 82 meters to 152 meters. Furthermore, the company offers its customers project specific solutions in the areas of turnkey, service and maintenance, transport and installation, as well as foundation planning and construction.          

 

Operational Purchaser (f/m)

For our location at Oliveira de Frades, and within the Global Nacelles organization, we are looking for a person who will be responsible for guarantee the availability of direct goods for the production of Hubs and Nacelles in the right time and quality. Additionally providing materials worldwide for the construction sites and supporting the global service hubs with spare parts.

 

Main tasks:

  • Work as part of an integrated value chain together with internal stakeholders from different departments around with external suppliers;
  • Material management: use the material management module in SAP to manage the purchase to order proces;
  • Order Material Management: by analyzing and planning stocks in production plants and respective follow of deliveries;
  • Optimization of stocks level;
  • Escalation of shortages in production and/or quality issues of suppliers;
  • Evaluate the suppliers and support the development of new suppliers;
  • Continuous improvement.

 

Requirements:

  • Qualification: University or trade degree
  • Minimum 3 year professional experience
  • Experiences with working in excel
  • SAP (MM)
  • Written and spoken English to work in an international procurement team and with different suppliers.
